Chilton Organizes Ribbon Cutting Ceremony in Celebration of New Store Front Off Commercial Street in Portland

Chilton Furniture, a family-owned designer and retailer of wood furniture crafted primarily in Maine, will be opening a new showroom in Portland this Sunday, November 1st. Jen Levin, President, and Co-Owner of Chilton will be giving tours of the showroom and showcasing Chilton's newest, locally made designs all day.

Chilton will be located at 100 Commercial Street and open every day, from 10 am to 6 pm, Sunday through Thursday, and from 10 am to 7 pm on Friday and Saturday.

Jen says: “We’re excited to open our new showroom in Portland. The Thomas Block building is an Old Port landmark, and we believe the timeless beauty of this location is the perfect backdrop for showcasing our newest designs. The majority of our collections at 100 Commercial Street will be locally made, and we are very pleased to have a forum for showcasing Maine craftsmanship to the many visitors from around the country who come to the Old Port each year."

Chilton is also introducing new dining tables that will be featured at the Portland location just in time for the holidays. These pieces include the Shaker Heirloom Dining Table, Harbor Table, Fjord Dining Table, and Highland Dining Table, which all pair perfectly with Chilton’s recently introduced Boston Chair.

Chilton’s products are also available online at www.chiltons.com and at their 2 other showrooms located in Freeport and Scarborough.
