Our workshop produces hundreds of custom furniture pieces
yearly for our satisfied customers. CHILTON salespeople can assist in
designing the item you have been searching for to perfectly meet your
needs. Email, FAX, or bring in a sketch, a line drawing, or a photo of
the item desired, and we will quote a finished price. Many options are
available, including types of wood, edge treatments, drawer styles and slides,
and whether you want the piece painted or stained. We can help you make
those decisions by showing your floor samples and explaining each opinion.

| Natural Finishes |
|

Our cherry furniture can be finished without any
stain. With that option, the wood will darken with time to a beautiful,
rich color. We sometimes use a toner to give the surface an immediate
aged beauty without waiting for the color to mature. Our top coat is a
durable finish, resistant to water stains. The patina is pleasing, and we
can provide any degree of sheen on special orders. CHILTON also offers
painted finishes as well as a combination of paint and stain, which is very
popular.

| Dovetailed Drawers |

Shaker craftsmen were noted for their fine work.
Dovetailed corner joints provide exceptionally strong drawers that are also
attractive in appearance. We offer a number of options in drawer design –
such as inset, overlaid, pocket, and tapered. We can provide metal drawer
glides or construction that is more traditional.
