Our sturdy Saco chair is named after the great river that runs from the border of New Hampshire to Camp Ellis and the Atlantic Ocean. With a simple, elegant style inspired by the Bungalow design movement, our Saco chair pairs well with any of our tables, and the size is a customer favorite.
Shown in solid cherry and maple. Also available in walnut and quarter-sawn white oak.

Chilton offers nation-wide white glove delivery service, which means that your furniture will be carefully blanket wrapped, transported to your home, carried inside, and assembled, as needed. Your charge is a flat rate based upon delivery distance from Maine, and includes an unlimited number of pieces (a particularly good value for larger orders). For single item orders of smaller pieces, please call to inquire whether common carrier shipping is available. Delivery times can take between two and nine weeks, depending on location and distance from our Maine warehouse. For deliveries to Alaska, Hawaii, or otherwise outside of the continental US, please call our showrooms to inquire about delivery options.

Delivery Costs for Lighting and Home Accessories
When lighting and home accessories are ordered along with furniture, the delivery expense is included in the cost of the furniture delivery. When ordered separately, the delivery cost for lighting is a flat $45 for an unlimited number of lighting pieces. The delivery cost for smaller home accessories is $9.95. For larger home accessories ordered separately that can be shipped by common carrier, please call for a quote.

We recently purchased a Cherry Saco Chair from Chilton Furniture in Freeport, Maine. It's beautiful and comfortable and will make a great desk chair. We are big Chilton fans and already own a set of dining chairs in addition to bookshelves, hutches, end tables, and other cabinets. BTW the showroom is beautiful!
