Solid wood construction.
Optional platform base. 19 hardwood poplar slats 2.5" wide by 3/4" thick, spaced 1 1/2" apart, separated by wood spacers. Distance measurement is consistent with most mattress warranty standards. An additional center rail runs head to toe for added support.
Optional conventional base. 5 hardwood slats 4" wide by 1" thick, spaced 12" apart, separated by wood spacers. Three adjustable legs added for additional support.
Metal hardware to secure rails to bed posts.
Lacquer finish.
