Chilton's signature Shaker style collection of dressers and chests is made locally in Maine, available in cherry with classic dovetail joinery and solid hardwood drawer box construction with soft-close undermount slides. Beautiful on its own or paired with our Shaker, Penobscot or Acadia beds, a Shaker Chest is a sleek home for all your delicate items. Also available in maple or walnut.

Solid wood frame, top, legs and drawers. Sides are solid hardwood veneers over premium furniture-grade plywood. Backs are single-panel birch plywood.
Please note that when your new cherry wood furniture arrives, it may be lighter in color than the wood shown in the accompanying photo. New cherry wood is initially a pale, straw color and gradually darkens to a beautiful amber over time with exposure to light.

Chilton offers nation-wide white glove delivery service, which means that your furniture will be carefully blanket wrapped, transported to your home, carried inside, and assembled, as needed. Your charge is a flat rate based upon delivery distance from Maine, and includes an unlimited number of pieces (a particularly good value for larger orders). For single item orders of smaller pieces, please call to inquire whether common carrier shipping is available. Delivery times can take between two and nine weeks, depending on location and distance from our Maine warehouse. For deliveries to Alaska, Hawaii, or otherwise outside of the continental US, please call our showrooms to inquire about delivery options.

Delivery Costs for Lighting and Home Accessories
When lighting and home accessories are ordered along with furniture, the delivery expense is included in the cost of the furniture delivery. When ordered separately, the delivery cost for lighting is a flat $45 for an unlimited number of lighting pieces. The delivery cost for smaller home accessories is $9.95. For larger home accessories ordered separately that can be shipped by common carrier, please call us for a quote.
