This spry side chair–with two slats above and two rungs below the seat–is one of Tappan Chairs' oldest models, dating back to the mid 1800's. Always with a "broomstick top" and bent back to its posts, this chair is small yet sturdy, and positions itself subtly in both kitchen and dining room settings. Its proportions pair nicely with the three slat Tappan Arm Chair to round out a complete table setting. Shown in black-painted Maple and Ash, with a Black taped seat woven in a diamond weave. Please note that all Tappan Chair models offered on our website come standard with checkerboard weave.
We offer each Tappan Chair model in a wide range of local woods, seating colors and weaves, most of which are not available for purchase on our website. Please contact us if you would like to select from the full range of choices available.
