Happy New Year to you! I am writing to thank you for being a valued member of the Chilton family and to introduce myself. As you may have heard, in September of last year my husband Jared and I purchased Chilton from longtime owners Bill and Susan Martens-we have big shoes to fill. With a history that dates back to the 19th century, we are honored to continue the Chilton tradition of selling quality, American-made wood furniture. And we are very fortunate to have retained a stellar team, led by General Manager and Partner Nate Gobeil, and Store Managers Lorinda Nelson of Scarborough and Jill Kennedy of Freeport. Plans for 2015
Heading into 2015 we have a number of initiatives planned, none more exciting than forming new partnerships with local furniture makers and adding new, Shaker-inspired lines to give you more design choices. We are also partnering with the Shakers at Sabbathday Lake to offer a new and exclusive line of Shaker furniture. Look for more on that in future updates. We will also be updating our website to offer greater selection and a more intuitive online experience.

Faster Delivery. Scaled-Up Inventory.
We implemented a new inventory management system last year and recently hired a dedicated warehouse manager and appointed a head of customer service to ensure that your orders are fulfilled in the timeliest manner possible. We are also scaling up inventory, which we believe will further reduce waiting time on our most popular pieces. (Of course, you will still be able to bring in a photo or drawing and have a custom piece built to your specifications.)
