About Chilton's Freeport, Maine Showroom

Chilton's Freeport, Maine showroom features our full and growing collection of original wood furniture designs, as well as our classic Shaker-inspired pieces. Located less than a mile from LL Bean, Chilton's Freeport showroom also includes our three-season "barn", where we offer discounted floor models and returns.

Chilton first relocated to this historic 18th century sea captain's home in 1983, and recently completed a full renovation, creating the perfect backdrop to highlight the warmth, texture and natural beauty of our wood furniture. You will also find art curated by Portland Art Gallery throughout this serene space, complimenting our broad selection of bedroom furniture, dining tables, chairs, wood coffee tables, unique lighting, modern wood stoves, and our award-winning Nautilus Lounge Chair.

Directions

From US Route 295 North – take Freeport exit 20 (Desert Rd.) and stop at the end of the ramp. Turn right and bear left at the traffic light (this is the beginning of Main St., US Route 1.) The Chilton store is one-half mile ahead on the left side of Main Street.

From US Route 295 South – take Freeport exit 20 (Desert Rd.) to the STOP sign. Turn left and proceed to the traffic light. Bear left (this is the beginning of Main St., US Route 1.) The Chilton store is one-half mile ahead on the left side of Main Street.

COVID Update - Our Showrooms are Open

We are excited to have reopened our showrooms to the public. Pursuant to guidance from the Maine CDC, customers who have been fully vaccinated do not need to wear a mask in our showrooms. We will continue to make masks and hand sanitizer available for those customers who would prefer them, or who have not been fully vaccinated.

We are asking that customers and staff refrain from entering our showrooms if they are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19, such as a cough or sore throat, fever, shortness of breath, or loss of taste or smell.
