The Baldwin Chair and the Shaker Heirloom Boat Table are available now. Both are designed and handcrafted in Maine.

Baldwin Chair
Based on the familiar spindle chair form, the Baldwin Chair is characterized by its turned tapered spindles and legs, each joining the sculpted solid wood seat. The rounded steam bent armrest sits atop the turned spindles, joined by pinned tenons. Designed and made in Maine.
With its origin dating back to the early 18th century, the spindle chair form has endured due to its durability, efficient use of materials, and comfort, all of which have lef to its now familiar place in New England homes. The Baldwin Chair references this classic form.

An iteration of our Shaker Heirloom Dining Table, the boat top version is differentiated by the shape of its top, which features large radiused arcs on each side and straight ends. Like the original, visible pins emphasize and enforce the mortise and tenon joints. Designed and made in Maine.
