Acadia Live Edge Dining Table
Chilton's Acadia Collection is crafted in Maine from solid wood. Each piece features clean minimalist lines with a contrasting unfinished edge from the bark line of the tree. This "live edge" ensures that each piece is both dynamic and unique. Inspired by George Nakashima, this table marries a modern aesthetic with a reverence for the tree from which it was hewn.

Solid cherry construction, plank style top with no leaves. Top is 1" with contoured live side edges. Legs are 2.25" thick at top and taper slightly to 1.75" toward the bottom on large table (2' at top tapered to 1.5" at bottom on smaller table). Legs are fastened to table with wooden corner block receiving 2 lag bolts. Table seats 8 comfortably with chairs and 10 if benches are used on sides at larger size and 6 and 8 at smaller size.
Please note that when your new cherry wood furniture arrives, it may be lighter in color than the wood shown in the accompanying photo. New cherry wood is initially a pale, straw color and gradually darkens to a beautiful amber over time with exposure to light.

Chilton offers nation-wide white glove delivery service, which means that your furniture will be carefully blanket wrapped, transported to your home, carried inside, and assembled, as needed. Your charge is a flat rate based upon delivery distance from Maine, and includes an unlimited number of pieces (a particularly good value for larger orders). For single item orders of smaller pieces, please call to inquire whether common carrier shipping is available. Delivery times can take between two and nine weeks, depending on location and distance from our Maine warehouse. For deliveries to Alaska, Hawaii, or otherwise outside of the continental US, please call our showrooms to inquire about delivery options.

Delivery Costs for Lighting and Home Accessories
When lighting and home accessories are ordered along with furniture, the delivery expense is included in the cost of the furniture delivery. When ordered separately, the delivery cost for lighting is a flat $45 for an unlimited number of lighting pieces. The delivery cost for smaller home accessories is $9.95. For larger home accessories ordered separately that can be shipped by common carrier, please call us for a quote.
Our huge dining table with six chairs and bench is everything that we expected and more. The live edge on the table and bench is beautiful as well as the wood grain. This set is a lovely addition to our new home that we now share with our daughter, son in law and three grandchildren. It is destined to be one of our most prized family heirlooms.
