Shaker File Cabinet
This file cabinet is a handsome addition to any office. Dovetailed drawers slide on heavy-duty, full-extension metal glides for ease of operation, and racks are set up to accommodate both letter and legal file folders. Built locally in Maine.

Side-mounted metal glides. 1/2" dovetailed hardwood drawer boxes. 3/4" undercut beveled tops. 1 1/4" tapered leg posts. 1 1/4"L x 1"W mushroom style knobs.
Solid wood frame, top, legs and drawers. Sides and back are solid hardwood veneers over premium furniture-grade plywood.
Please note that when your new cherry wood furniture arrives, it may be lighter in color than the wood shown in the accompanying photo. New cherry wood is initially a pale, straw color and gradually darkens to a beautiful amber over time with exposure to light.

Our Shaker furniture pieces are currently at an unusually high build time of 20-24 weeks due to high demand, as well as social distancing requirements in the building process. We are taking steps to accelerate that timing, but please count on this time frame to be conservative.Wood Species

Chilton offers nation-wide white glove delivery service, which means that your furniture will be carefully blanket wrapped, transported to your home, carried inside, and assembled, as needed. Your charge is a flat rate based upon delivery distance from Maine, and includes an unlimited number of pieces (a particularly good value for larger orders). For single item orders of smaller pieces, please call to inquire whether common carrier shipping is available. Delivery times can take between two and nine weeks, depending on location and distance from our Maine warehouse. For deliveries to Alaska, Hawaii, or otherwise outside of the continental US, please call our showrooms to inquire about delivery options.

Delivery Costs for Lighting and Home Accessories
When lighting and home accessories are ordered along with furniture, the delivery expense is included in the cost of the furniture delivery. When ordered separately, the delivery cost for lighting is a flat $45 for an unlimited number of lighting pieces. The delivery cost for smaller home accessories is $9.95. For larger home accessories ordered separately that can be shipped by common carrier, please call for a quote.
