Shaker Pie Safes
Chilton’s Shaker inspired wood furniture collections offer classic examples of the clean lines and craftsmanship favored by Shaker cabinet makers in the 1800’s. Pie Safes were created literally as a cupboard for letting pies cool down after coming out of the over. The small holes in the metal surface would allow steam to come out, but would not let flies or other pests in. Our Pie Safes are built locally in Maine.
